Blue Sky Farm now rests on 8 acres just outside downtown Lake Geneva, WI. Once a 100-acre farmette threatened by dense development, John Engerman had a vision to preserve the area’s countryside. Along with a partner who shared his passion, John ensured that this special land would remain a haven for nature and tranquility.
Today, Blue Sky Farm sits at the forefront of a conservation community that beautifully balances open prairie with charming cottage-style homes. At the heart of the property, John restored the original farmhouse and has begun renovations on the barn, creating a one-of-a-kind vacation rental where rustic charm meets modern comfort. Soon, the renovated barn will welcome weddings, gatherings, and new memories, continuing the legacy of preservation and joy that started it all.
